The Day Anusmriti - Alumni Meet at SJPI/NICM
The long-anticipated Anusmriti Alumni Meet at SJPI/NICM finally dawned, a culmination of weeks of intense preparation by the director, faculty, and coordinators on 23 rd April,2022. Arriving at SJPI-NICM Gandhinagar by 8:30 am, coordinators were primed to ensure a memorable event. Traditional Indian welcome rituals greeted alumni, evoking nostalgia as they walked down memory lane.
Registration desks facilitated smooth entry, with on-the-spot registration available. Alumni savored a traditional Gujarati breakfast before engaging in interactive sessions, fostering bonds and capturing memories with a talented photographer.
Transitioning to the event venue at Sector 12B, the hosts, Bhakti Patel and Juee Jadvani, ushered in esteemed guests, including Director Dr. Harishchandra Singh Rathod. His inspiring speech set the tone for the event, echoed by guest speakers Mr. Varun Amin and Mrs. Nandini Vachanni.
A highlight was alumni sharing their cherished memories, with lucky draw winners Amit Mishra, Ashok Purohit, and Priyanka Bhatia gracing the stage. Dr. Krunal Joshi delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging every contributor.
The climax arrived with a performance by the renowned rock band MEGHDHANUSH, including college alumnus Karan Patel, amplifying the pride and spirit of the institution. This Alumni Meet was not just a reunion; it symbolized the enduring connection between past, present, and future generations of the institution. It served as a platform for alumni to reminisce, reconnect, and revitalize their ties with their alma mater.
