Dr Preeti Singhal

Associate Professor

Dr Preeti Singhal, a postgraduate in business management from VAMNICOM – Pune (Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management) (A National Institute of the National Council for Cooperative Training), Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, is an Associate Professor at SJPI in the area of marketing.  She started her academic career with SJPI in the year 2026.  Before that, she had worked with different management institutes in different capacities.  Throughout her distinguished career, Dr Singhal has held several key academic leadership positions, including Associate Professor, Head of Department, Academic Head of MBA Programme, and Principal. Her teaching expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of management subjects, including Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Retail Management, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, Organisational Behaviour, Leadership Development, Business Communication, Healthcare Management, and Management Information Systems. Known for her student-centric teaching approach, she has consistently focused on developing industry-ready management professionals by integrating experiential learning, logical reasoning, employability skills, and outcome-based education into the classroom.

Dr. Singhal has played a significant role in strengthening institutional excellence through her active involvement in ACBSP accreditation and ISO accreditation processes, academic quality assurance initiatives, curriculum design, examination reforms, and institutional rankings. She has also served as the Coordinator of Finishing School Programmes and RiSE Placement Readiness Programme, helping students enhance their employability and professional competencies. Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Singhal has made valuable contributions to academic publishing and doctoral education. She has served as an Assistant Editor of the journal Sankalpa – A Journal of Management & Research, acted as a reviewer for scholarly journals, and has been a Doctoral Progress Committee (DPC) member guiding PhD scholar. She has also contributed to national educational initiatives by developing content modules for UGC e-PG Pathshala.

Her academic excellence has been recognized through several prestigious accolades, including the Higher Education Forum (HEF) Teaching Excellence Award, the Innovative Trainer Award by the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), and institutional appreciation for her contributions toward quality assurance and accreditation initiatives.
