Group Discussion Activity – Under HR Club
❖ To develop students’ communication, critical thinking, listening and team
discussion skills through an interactive group discussion activity.
❖ To encourage students to express their views confidently, analyse different
perspectives and participate effectively in group-based discussions
One-Minute Startup Pitch – Under Entrepreneurship Club
Students were given a common problem and they were allowed 3–4 minutes to think in
group of four for pitching in one-minute in relation to problem, solution , target customer
and revenue model.
CSR Impact Challenge – “Doing Good, Doing Better” – Under CSR Club
• To help students understand the role of Corporate Social Responsibility in creating
social and environmental impact.
• To develop problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Fun/Cultural Club: “Leaving Our Mark: The Leadership Oath & Pledge Wall”
(Pre-Independence Day Celebration)
• To instil ethical leadership, personal accountability, and national pride in incoming
MBA students as they begin their professional journey.
• To foster batch cohesion and commitment through a shared symbolic pledge of
integrity and responsible citizenship.
Student Feedback
The feedback received from the students indicated that the MBA Orientation Programme was highly informative, engaging, and beneficial in helping them understand the academic and professional journey ahead. Students appreciated the well-structured sessions and the opportunity to interact with faculty members, industry experts, and other resource persons. The students particularly valued the sessions related to the MBA curriculum, academic regulations, internal assessment, examination pattern, summer internship, career opportunities, and various co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The interactions with industry professionals helped students gain a better understanding of current industry expectations and the skills required for successful management careers.
Students also expressed that the orientation programme helped them become familiar with the institute’s academic environment, facilities, support systems, student activities, and institutional practices. The interactive sessions and group activities contributed to better peer interaction and helped students feel more confident and comfortable as they began their MBA journey.
Overall, the students responded positively to the orientation programme and appreciated the efforts made by the institution to provide them with a comprehensive introduction to the MBA programme. The feedback reflected that the programme successfully created awareness, motivation, and a positive learning outlook among the newly admitted students. Students suggested that similar interactive sessions, industry interactions, experiential activities, and career-oriented programmes may be continued throughout the MBA programme to enhance their learning and professional preparedness.
