Details of Event: The primary objective of the Food Fiesta was to provide students with practical exposure to entrepreneurship, management, creativity, and teamwork by integrating classroom learning with real-world experiences. The event comprised food stalls, game stalls, and art and craft stalls, where students actively participated in planning, organizing, and managing various activities. Students were involved in menu planning, pricing decisions, procurement of materials, demand forecasting, customer service, and financial management. Selected food stalls also featured live cooking, providing hands-on operational experience.
The event was conceptualized as a student-centric platform where students experienced the complete entrepreneurial process, from ideation and planning to execution and evaluation. Student coordinators were assigned responsibilities related to stall management, budgeting, marketing, and execution, thereby promoting practical learning and innovation.
Overall, the Food Fiesta significantly contributed to the development of students’ leadership, communication, teamwork, financial management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
