Event Name: Achieving Problem – Solution Fit

Details of Event: The half-day event was structured into two key phases:
Phase 1: Formation of Multidisciplinary Teams & Problem–Solution Development
- A total of 17 multidisciplinary teams were formed, each comprising students from varied academic backgrounds.
- Teams were instructed to identify a real-life problem and propose an innovative solution.
- The session emphasized evidence-based innovation, requiring teams to justify the feasibility and need for their proposed solutions.
Phase 2: Creation of Solution Prototypes Using Waste Materials
- Teams were given 2 hours to develop a prototype or model using waste or second-hand materials only.
- The activity promoted sustainability, resourcefulness, and creative problem-solving.
- Each group later presented their problem statement, solution approach, prototype, and basic go-to-market strategy (Product, Price, Place & Promotion).
