Dr. Priyanka Batra is connected in the capacity of Assistant Professor with the prestigious Institute since July 2017. Formerly, she has worked with a State Autonomous body for close to 4 years. She holds 4th Rank in Gujarat University in her Bachelor of Commerce in Year 2009. She has specialized in ‘Finance’ during her Masters of Business Administration. She also holds a Post Graduate Degree in Masters of Commerce. Her interest areas consist of Cost Accounting for Managers, Legal Aspects of Business & Managerial Communication. She is a result oriented & highly motivated Professional with strong analytical and logical skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Doctor of Philosophy- Ph.D (Management) 2022 from Gujarat Technological University, in the subject of “A Study on Challenges and Opportunities in Manufacturing and Buying of Khadi Apparels by Youth in Selected regions of Gujarat”.
- Post Graduation in Commerce (M. Com) in 2014 from Gujarat University.
- MBA in Finance (2009-11) from NICM Gandhinagar, affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, achieving a Comprehensive Performance Index of 8.20 out of 10.

- Assistant Professor at Shri Jairambhai Business Administration and Computer Applications since July, 2017 where she imparts knowledge in various subjects, including Legal Aspects of Business, Managerial Communication, Business Analytics, International Business, Consumer Behavior, Retailing and Franchising, Advanced Data Analytics, and Financial Planning and Taxation.
- From October 2011 to October 2015, Dr. Priyanka Batra served as a Class-I Officer at the Gujarat Maritime Board. Initially joining as a Management Trainee, she undertook various responsibilities at the Head Office in Gandhinagar, including Accounts Officer for Pension, Member Secretary for the Gratuity Trust Fund, and Nodal Officer for the New Pension Scheme. Transitioning into the role of Manager-Finance, she efficiently managed the financial operations of the Mandvi group of Ports for 15 months, followed by overseeing the finance portfolio of the Okha group of Ports for six months.
- From November 2015 to June 2017, Dr. Batra contributed as a Visiting Lecturer at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), delivering insightful lectures on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Economics, and Law.

- Dr. Priyanka Batra has participated in various professional development programs and conferences. She attended the International E-Conference on “Being Covid Anti-Fragile: The Sustainability and Growth Perspective” organized by Narmada College of Management, Som-Lalit Institute of Business Management, Tolani Motwane Institute of Management Studies, and Universal Business School Sydney on 11th to 12th February 2021.
- She engaged in the FDP on “Advance Research Methods” conducted by Fortune Institute of International Business, New Delhi, from 21st to 25th March 2022.
- She participated in the 12th Online Orientation-Guru Dakshta Programme organized by the Human Resource Development Centre at Gujarat University from 19th May 2022 to 17th June 2022, as well as the 3rd Online Refresher Programme from 21st June 2022 to 4th July 2022.
