Assistant Professor

Dr Tanvi Kothari, is an assistant professor for the MBA program at the Shri Jairambhai Patel Institute of Business Management and Computer Applications (NICM), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.She holds a Ph. D from the Institute of Management, Nirma University and UGC-NET qualified faculty. She is MBA with dual specialization in human resource management and marketing management. She is pharmacy graduate. Prior to joining SJPI-NICM, She also served as a visiting faculty at the Institute of Management, Nirma University, B. K. School of Management and Oakbrook Business School and B. K. Mody Govt.Pharmacy College, Rajkot. She served as an assistant professor (HR) in the Faculty of Management, Shree Saraswati Education Sansthan’s Group of Institutions before working as a lecturer (HR & Marketing) in Om Vindhyavasini Institute of Management, Morbi. She is a Scopus and ABDC published author. She is the Recognized Ph D Guide in Gujarat Technological university.

In 2019, She was awarded the best paper - presented in an International Conference 2019 on Human Resource Development and MSME Development organized by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII). She is passionate about teaching and research and has undertaken a certificate course on organizational behaviour, Marketing Research and Analysis and Performance Management and Competency Mapping. She has been extensively working in the teaching, training, and research domain for over a decade and specialize in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Instrumentation in OD and HRD and Research Methodology. Till date, she has guided more than 200 students for their masters’ dissertation research projects and trained more than 500 research scholars and faculty on data analysis using various statistical software and other research concepts. She is the life member of Indian Institute of Training and Development and currently holding the post of Vice-chairperson of Ahmedabad chapter.
